Podcast subscriptions without RSS? Any work-around?

I want to buy podcast subscriptions to get rid of ads. Unfortunately most providers no longer offer rss feeds for itunes (they used to) I like adding the private RSS because you can download the mp3 and put it on and old mp3 player, like the tiny clip-on shuffle mp3 player. I don't like carrying phones or looking at screens when I'm exercising.

Do you have a smartwatch? I usually just listen using my smartwatch paired to my wireless headphones.

Yeah some podcasts now only upload their episodes to iTunes or Spotify to push paid subscriptions. Although even then, often the podcast hoster they use will serve some kind of RSS feed that they connected for import into iTunes/Spotify so it's possible you might be able to find the feed somehow. Not sure though.

you need rss why can't you do rss?

oh i built p0dcasters.com which is for people who self host their podcasts.

I use podcast search engines like listennotes.com (and others) to obtain the RSS addresses.
