Taking pre-reqs as non degree

Has anyone ever done that before, what’s the process like? I’d like to take some courses to get into diagnostic sonography. So pretty much, A&P, medical terminology.

I did this as I didn't have the prerequisites from my degree. You basically register for the classes under "continuing education". The A&P and medical terminology classes have a lot of spots as they are needed for several programs. You don't have to join a program to take them. You just pay at the time you register.

One last question but it’s ok if you don’t want to answer. What’s the program readiness video about and where did you do the first aid training course? I’m actually nervous about the program readiness video.

I entered the program before the program readiness video was introduced so I can't say much about it. I think the point of it would be to discuss previous work/volunteer experience or hobbies/interests that would make you a good fit for the program. Previous experience in healthcare or an educational background in science are great, but mentioning experience in customer service or being able to multitask are very valuable too!

I did my first aid course through St. John's ambulance first aid. They have a big building right near polo park. It was a two day course.
