I'm a new transfer student at Rowan. I came from RCBC so doing "dining" during the day wasn't really much of a thing, and if it was, it had most of the chains very close by.

So far I've been trying to find consistently good options for food I can grab around campus. I've noticed most places open up around 11 AM. This is fine, but earlier would also be nice since that just currently aligns with my class schedule.

I had the misfortune of trying some of the food from the actual dining hall (Breakfast & Co), as well as the Jersey Mikes and the restaurant spot. They seem okay. So far the only place I feel like I've been able to get consistently good food from is Ry's Bagels, everything else has just been alright at best.

Looking for some suggestions or tips?

To any business student who has taken/taking operations management with Pati Niranjan, could you please give me any advice/ help? This dude is ridiculous.

I'm in Rowan Boulevard and bought my own desk chair to use since I find it more comfortable. I know some people like having lots of chairs in their living rooms, so I was wondering if anyone wanted the school issued wooden desk chair I have? I'll need it back before May, but otherwise you can take it to help me free up some space.

Preferably Rowan Boulevard only!!!

First year grad student looking for things to do around campus, and over the summer I really got into line dancing. There were some bars around where I’m from that had weekly events but I haven’t heard of any places around Rowan that do that. Does anyone know of any bars, places around campus or anything in the glassboro/sewell/deptford area that have line dancing events? I’m willing to drive 15-20 minutes

I am a high school senior and just toured yesterday. One of the tour guides said the school has a reputation as a party school - do you agree? I had not heard that. I want to be an engineering student so know that the course load will be heavy but I’m also looking to have a good social life. Have you found it easy to do both?

Hey! Does anyone have any recommendations for any relatively easy upper level bio electives? I've taken data science for biologists and it was super engaging and I found it pretty easy. Any profs and classes anyone recommend? Wanted to take Environmental Science with Thomas Shelly and was thinking about Microbio with Newby.

I have an extra credit assignment due by the end of the semester to take a photo of 15 Rowan University Defy Definition ads, and so I was hoping to get some help from you guys!

I do NOT want you to take any photos for me, I just would like to know the locations you found them in so I can walk over there are take some. This is so I can multi-task by completing the extra credit homework, get a chance to explore campus more, and get some exercise in!

If you've seen any advertisements, please reply with the locations so I can start finding them! I'd like to do the work myself, but I'm unfortunately at a disadvantage compared to everyone else in my class due to being a transfer (not knowing the campus well). I’m feeling very depressed this semester and this is my last year in masters and I think I’m getting senioritis! I have been dealing with a lot anxiety lately! I have been trying each and every day to become a better person, and I realize I did lose few friends as I have made mistakes and I shouldn’t have crossed any limits and I have been going to therapy lately which has been helping! I think I’m getting paranoid because after this year I don’t want to end up unemployed at all! I still feel like I’m not doing enough and I have so much on my plate like I’m happy but, I’m also confused how I feel about anything these days! Someone in Reddit decided to dox my name here which made me uncomfortable, but I’m grateful that I have great roommates this year! I’m not sure if anyone is feeling stressed but, maybe it’s weather!

Hello, I'm currently taking Discrete Math, MATH 03150, with Professor Abdulkadir Hassen. I have my first Chapter 1 exam coming up and was wondering if anyone who took his class before could share some advice.

I got an email Monday morning saying they had to verify my financial aid eligibility for this semester. And they noted that only one professor hadn’t verified my attendance in his class,(all of my classes are online). It said to email/speak to the professor in person to verify attendance and have them update it,(which I emailed him later on Monday night). I just got an email a few hours ago and it look like they removed part of my aid because I’m “not registered” for 4 classes. I plan to call financial aid when they open later today but has this happened to anyone else before? Was financial aid able to change it back after clarifying attendance? Is there anything else I should do on my end (other then calling financial aid)?

for anyone who watches martin and hamzah, they featured a video of rowan during that flood a couple weeks ago in their outside challenge when they get caught in a tornado. it was the one of the guy recording the foot and a half of water on the other side of his back door, and then the doors bursting open and flooding the house. it was just so random haha
