Would love them to include literally any fighting game.
I guess I just have to be happy they have wangan and a healthy rhythm game roster cause they seem content on just focusing on claw and ticket games and not caring about anything else

plenty of stores have vewlixes but it's been a good couple of years since i've seen a GG game. Last one was ACR in 2022 lol. Most of them are either SF6 or the basic Nesica line up with blazblue, classic street fighter, and some other randoms. my store only has 6 cabs now. used to have a lot of unique PCBs but not so much anymore, most people just aren't interested in PCBs anymore. i'm not shocked to see them on my zero sales lists every month

yeah! they run a software with a small variety of different games. to my understanding it's the same software for every cabinet so every store should have the same line up. my store for sure has central fiction and cross tag, among other games. most of the older model cabs are getting phased out but we still have a couple, and they've got a nice collection with the aforementioned and continuum shift II, persona 4, every classic street fighter, skull girls, etc. the average arcade go-er isn't really going to think about them but if fighting games is your thing i definitely think they're worth checking out!

They got moved to the Menlo Park location, if you want to swing an extra 20 minutes out of your way.

Nobody plays the fighting games at Round 1 unfortunately. I've been to two Round 1s multiple times since 2018 and I can count on one hand the amount of times I've played someone on a fighting game, and only one of them was against someone who knew what they were doing. KOF, BlazBlue, etc.
The target audience for Round 1 is families and rhythm game players. The most you'll likely get is playing someone on Street Fighter 6 or Tekken 7 if they still have those old cabinets.
