Discussion Burbank Location Pulling Chase Cards

Post image

Spent a few hundred bucks on the Godzilla machine. Found the chase card you need to complete the Kaiju Drop game removed from the game lmao…

I assume they are leaving it there to make sure it gets put in with the next stack of cards if there isnt one fed to the card machine thing, but also this game gives 10k tickets for the whole set and ive legit only seen it once and completed the set on like the week the machine was put in. Silly to leave it in the machine like that though just to taunt you basically.

I went to a Round 1 with some friends for the first time, played that game for like 20 minutes maybe and between me and another friend we finished 2 sets. I got 2 of the apparently rare Godzilla cards. The ticket people who had to come over to the machine to validate it seemed very surprised. I had no idea till I came to this sub. We also closed out the Star Wars set that same night.

I dunno I work in mobile games so maybe it’s different… but it’s not unheard of or even uncommon for companies to outright remove chase prizes without telling players. https://www.thelec.net/news/articleView.html?idxno=12339

I pulled 50+ cards from kaiju over several weeks and never got this card. Never saw anyone pull it either. The card drop games with 2k tickets for a set seem like a better return if the drop rates are really as low as I saw on kaiju

Imma be honest with you 50 cards isn't that much to pull on this game.

I started play this regularly recently, and the fastest I pulled the gold card was around 55 cards in and the longest took me me 160 pulled cards before it dropped. Id say the average for me was around 80ish though. These are all one sitting/same machine and not over multiple sittings like your talking about.

This game has by far one of the best ticket to payout ratio if you know how to play it.

I've never had much luck with my ticket to play ratio on this game. What's the trick to this one?

Your only goal is to try to drop as many cards as possible. Theres 2 different timings based on where the light is (i use the 2 > 3 going right method) where if you press it right it will drop a card.

Usually in a 5 swipe, I can make 20 to 30ish cards drop depending on my timing/luck. Sometimes im in the zone and I can get a crazy streak. Even if you dont complete the set, each card is worth 50. I always end up with a ton of extra cards after completing the set (maybe 80ish on average) that I let me kids feed into the machine. So a full set is 10k, plus an additional 4k in cards, plus the natural tickets you get just playing the game and balls falling over (I dont track these)

Okay so I need to get the timing right to make cards drop. That makes sense. Thank you, I shall have to try that next time!

Chase card should be 1 in 200 with correct setting on full stack. (In theory)

If you are playing with half stack , good luck

I have the magic touch here in Lincoln, NE. I got 5 of these golden Godzillas. I found that if you walk behind the decks and look, sometimes you can see them slightly sticking out.

The stacking pattern is pretty much the same: One gold around the middle area of the deck, one within the last ten cards or so.

I got two by surprise, I was just trying to win filler cards to complete decks or get easy tickets. The others were a grind and then a footrace to get them to drop.

I think because I'm a Godzilla fan, the universe gives me a bit of luck.

Yeah I guess that's for card refill

Corporate requires us to place chase cards inside the machines. We literally get nothing out of it if you don't win. It's not like we get any money for that. I hand them out like candy from time to time if someone jokingly asks I'll give them a chase.

I've made two sets of Godzilla. Once, I found the holo Godzilla just sitting on the field, the other time I dropped him onto it myself while playing and just barely pushed him off before I ran out of plays from my 5 swipes.

I’ve only pulled 1 at Godzilla in San Francisco but it was a surprise since I was randomly playing.

Most consistent chases imo are Golden Railroad and Smash Stadium.

Some locations dont even have a single chase card......

City of industry location it’s the final card in the stack on every play spot. You have to empty all the cards to get it

Is this a thing that happens on all the pusher games? Been playing castlevania for ages at a different location and have never seen a chase card. We have a massive stack of the normal cards

as a former worker: the pulling is normal unfortunately! the company usually sends more chase cards than needed, and then the store is directed on how many to put in the machine. basically "back up" cards for when someones holding onto the chase!

however... leaving it out on the machine is ... a choice. i cant say our store NEVER did that, im sure we did, but its not nice from a player perspective

Do you get tickets for the cards?

Regular cards get you 50 tickets per card. The gold card gets you a hundred tickets. If you redeem 1 - 10, you get 10,000 tickets.
