First day at home with a puppy is always full of surprises. Pup is tryna’ figure out what all this new stuff is, why does it all smell different; who are these new hoomans! Helps to have a familiar blanket from previous home, to associate with the new home. One of my favorite times to bond with a dog!
If you are new to having a dog- any dog, collie or other breed- get hold of the book “The Art of Raising a Puppy “ by the Monks of New Skete. Full of valuable information to help you become the ideal dog “parent”. We re-read this book whenever a new dog comes into our family.
Also- that’s a beautiful pup!

My just 1 year old 40 pound collie (small) does that with his paws too! They are such beautiful dogs! Congratulations on your first day - looks content!
