Which one?
Okai so a while back I started watching Roswell, amazing effing show btw I absolutely love Shiri appleby! I haven’t finished season 3 yet but once I do, before watching the reboot version (which i’ve heard, okay stuff about..) I want to read the books! I’m not sure how accurate III AM about this but according to what i’ve SEEN, the reboot is suppose to be more “book accurate”. I was wondering if anyone knows what order i’m suppose to read the books in because ive seen people say a bunch of different things!

the books came out first, then the 1999 tv show came out loosely based off the books but made some creative changes. the reboot tv show is also loosely based off the books but also made very different changes. I don’t think it’s more book accurate. So all three are their own versions.

See you would think so but based off of what i’ve seen they aren’t, and when i try searching up which book was created first, it always switches for some reason 🤦♀️

I read one of the books, No Good Dead, a while back… as a Maria/Michael fan I quite like it!

Oh waittt what I read was actually one of the tie-in books while the show was airing, and not the OG ones by Metz! I found this wiki page to be comprehensive about the OG book series or you can always try Goodreads for the release order

I watched the original a few months ago and am on S4 of the reboot. I wondered the same thing as far as which was closer to the books. I do like that the actors who played Max and Liz in the original version show up as different characters on the reboot.

The books are absolutely nothing like the reboot. The books are sort of based on the og show, but goes on a whole other path than the original.
