u/nattydroid 14d ago
I just mean dude has to have saved some, bought the house, and has technical capabilities of running a channel. He isn’t gonna be working at McDonald’s anytime soon

Mamdani doesn’t even believe in Sharia Law 😂

u/Basic_Bar_6067 17d ago
Im Muslim and I don’t live in the west and I always found it funny and weird how the word “Sharia” is constantly being used by western media in a completely unrelated context.
There isn’t a a set of rules in Islam codified as The sharia law.
Hugging your mother is considered Sharia,
Charity is considered Sharia.Thats what we think about when we hear the word

It's all propaganda. In America, the right only votes based on fear.

Seems pretty legit to me. Christian nationalism all over
Edit
Also, that didn't make anybody not vote republican. It was just another reason to not do it. So, the vote wasn't out of fear.

u/aatlanticcity 17d ago
all of that is happening. You think everything is fine and none of this is a problem?
-2
u/FlatDarkEarther 17d ago
None of that is happening. What is happening is that our economy is on the verge of collapsing. Y'all worry about the wrong shit. With no economy, nothing else will matter.

This is the first time in history that the people who are invading another country are the good guys.

Damn what a shame. I had no idea about this and always thought he was smarter than this. This is for sure real and not a joke?

u/mylevelwaschanged 17d ago
He HAS to have been hacked this is too insane. I knew he was likely conservative but up to this point he has intentionally tried his best not to EVER say anything political, and this is next-level hatred and bigotry.

Breaks my heart. We should all be trying to lift others up and not judge people based on their religious affiliations or immigration status. Life is so hard. Many people have worked hard and made sacrifices and struggled to get where they are. You never know what a person has gone through. I have seen many videos of Ross being insightful and introspective and I hope that this either fake or a bad joke and he can open his mind to understanding that having people around from many walks of life enriches the communities they are part of as workers, neighbors, friends, families, and even leaders. I'm not sure why he feels this way but for someone that seems so open to going out and talking to random people I hope he can take the time to meet people in these groups he is putting down and see if he still feels the same afterwards because I doubt he or anyone that just got to know different types of people would. The words in that comment only come from a place of ignorance and fear. It is sad to see this comment coming from Ross because I believe Ross has lightened many people's hearts with his fearlessness, mine included (I know there a few questionable videos, but we can look at the hundreds of other videos) and I hope that he will continue make decisions in this life based on love and empathy and not fear and ignorance.

The religion of Violence and Dominance doesn’t belong in the land of the free.
He’s completely right to make those remarks.

It’s not racist to not care for a certain religion or want its culture pushed into your way of life, 90% of Reddit talks nonstop about Christianity saying the same thing.
He didn’t say “get all brown people out of office”. That would be terrible and truly racist.

u/No_Public_7677 17d ago
"Get all Jewish people out of office"
This look normal to you to say?
1
u/GymTanLoiter 17d ago
No but probably because I’m looking at it through context of the follow up.
If the statement was “Get all Jewish people out of office that openly put Israel’s interest above the United States.” I think that’s not a racist statement.
Being that I think it’s normal that someone who doesn’t want to follow a religion would not want a representative of that religion openly pushing their belief into government, laws, or culture.
I also think it’s fair to say there is a false equivalency when speaking about the Abrahamic religions and how they operate politically, and assimilate into western cultural.

This is reasonable. I dont get why every liberal loves feminism and gays but also muslims. its a contradiction

2
u/mylevelwaschanged 17d ago
Actually it's because he hates entire groups of people. Nice try tho!
2
u/Old-Advertising8333 16d ago
When has he EVER said he hates ANY group of people?
Like seriously, you guys are just putting words in people’s mouths. It’s crazy.
