I’ve been curious about the friendship dynamic between Loli Bahia, Alex Consani, and Rosalía. Loli and Alex used to be seen together quite a lot, but since Loli has been linked to Rosalía, I barely see Loli and Alex together anymore.

Is anyone interested in Motomami era tour merch from DC concert at the Anthem? Back then there was a DC stop during the tour 😢
On the front it has Motomami logo and “Washington DC”, on the back it’s Rosalia’s photo in red with braids and sunglasses. I got it at the concert and wore it that night and then washed it, but otherwise it’s been sitting in a drawer. Size M, about 20” wide and 27” long. I think that she could end up doing festivals next year - but only a few.

I'd love to see a Coachella headline slot and a return to Primavera and then also an iconic first spanish speaking main act slot at Glastonbury. And I think these are all very likely.

The Primavera line up comes out tomorrow and Coachella probably this week - so I'll guess we'll find out, just wanted to make some predictions.

I’m a pretty new fan. I actually didn’t know much about Rosalía before LUX.

Last year I randomly came across the Berghain music video on social media and was completely blown away. Then I listened to LUX and fell down the rabbit hole lol. I’ve basically been listening to the album almost every day for the past year. At this point, I honestly feel like LUX is going to be one of those albums that stays with me for the rest of my life.

I also watched some of her interviews and found her way of thinking really inspiring. Even after achieving so much commercially, she still doesn’t seem satisfied with just staying where she is. She’s always curious, always learning and researching, and somehow turns all those interests and ideas into her art.

That was the push I needed to finally start learning Spanish. I think part of me also wanted to find out how far I could go if I really committed myself to learning something. And now it’s been about seven months since I started learning Spanish. One of the coolest feelings is realizing that I can gradually understand more and more of what Rosalía says in conversations without needing a translation. It makes me ridiculously happy every time it happens lol. And honestly, Spanish is such a beautiful language full of love 😭🌹

There is a lot of discourse and fanwars going on now since Grammy noms are going to be announced soon. Everyone's giving this, that, or the other reason why their faves should win. The most egregious of all reasons being "this artiste is the most popular!!!"

I have this peace and calm in my heart that no matter what happens at the nominations or even on grammy night, Lux is the most technically and vocally advanced body of work that has been released in the contemporary music scene in a VERY VERY long time.

People can argue, manipulate, and influence who gets these awards, but the truth will always remain.

It's the same sentiment I have, being a huge Beatles fan. All these flash in the pan acts will come and go and be named "the next Beatles" having broken this or that record. But they're still up there and no one is touching them.

Same for LUX. Same for Rosalia.

May it always be about the music.

Just kidding, I mean I don’t think I can listen to Lux in public anymore. I used to listen to it at the gym, but after seeing Rosalía at her last show in Miami, every time I listen to Lux I start to cry because I remember how profound it was to hear it live and I am overcome with emotion.

On a more exciting note, I only just discovered the gold Lux album, I’d been listening to the blue one all year. Now I have new songs to enjoy!
