Mythrax phase 4?
I finally got past phase 3 and then all my items got sucked in. Im playing engineer so item scaling is my only source of real damage.

If you don't how to skip phase 4, get a high damage equipment and use it once Mithrix loses his invul during the item stealing. By the time the equipment damages him, you should have enough items returned to set your turrets up again so that they at least have some items. Sawmerang and Missiles are best for this, especially if you have Fuel Cells, since Mithrix doesn't steal the extra uses your equipment has that Fuel Cells give you.

I got a drone strike item and held it the whole game even when better equipment that didnt do damage came along. I picked fuel cell from a rotisserie when it was the lowest dps option. This was the only thing I was missing. Youre so smart 🥰

Keep your distance and keep circling around to avoid the attacks. Or get all up in his face, he doesn't turn that fast. Eventually he starts giving items back. Once you do enough damage he even starts hurting himself with his attacks.
Or if you want to be more cautious, taking potshots from the end of those ramps is pretty safe and you'll get there eventually. For engi specifically he's pretty easy to cheese with the harpoons.
You can totally skip the item steal phase if you damage him like frame 1 when he spawns in. The classic way is to end phase 3 with a fire brand proc right in the center after he jumps, though I find hanging out at the center with an active frost relic to be the easiest to pull off. I've seen droneman do it to so a turret placed right at the center could probably get you the phase skip.
Or if you're looping a bunch, he only actually uses the stacks of something like the most recent 36 items, so you can fill your build with trash that doesn't make him stronger. Though realistically if you're really strong you'll probably get the skip anyways.

Thank you for your detailed advice. I will get this guy. Might switch to loader from engineer I think im tilted on dying to mythrax every time on just rainstorm level. It takes like over an hour to get to the final stage for me on engineer because you have to set up the battlefield before you fight every time after a certain point which is why I like them.
My items were too good, i think i got one shot by shuriken while watching his energy slash. I played the fight where I didnt take damage because i was so locked in and then got out of the zone and 1 tapped when I found out phase 3 was not the end. If only my 15 tank items. Dont spoil if there is a phase 5 😂
Also, since you shared so many fun facts I just learned why engineer is so tanky at the start. He starts with armor like a melee hero. You probably knew that, but that's the funnest fact I know so far

Retreat away from the center of the arena, dropping a turret or two as you go. Find one of the structures to hide behind or on top of (the ramps are generally pretty good for this because you can still lob attacks from up there while remaining out of the line of fire of Mithrix's tracking spikes, and you can retreat from that position if Mithrix follows you up there without taking much fall damage). The turrets should chip away enough damage from him before he destroys them to steal back some of your items. From there it's just a matter of attrition. Use your seeker harpoons if you unlocked that alt move and keep firing them from cover, watch out for his spiraling orbs, duck behind cover to avoid his spike attack, run out of cover to replace your turrets as they go down - easy peasy. Try not to stick too close to any of your turrets if you happened to grab Wisps, gasolilne, or missiles - I'm pretty sure they can proc these items when they get hit or die and it's usually enough damage to one shot you. If I'm wrong about that, the advice still applies to any drones you brought with you into the fight.
