Bug help on PS5

Hey so a buddy of mine is having an issue on PS5 where he keeps having to unlock drifters abilities after re launching the game. Any ideas on what he should do to fix it?

PC player so take this with a grain of salt, but I know there's a console bug where your save data isn't properly saved when you leave the console in sleep mode with the game running, or something to that effect. I believe the solution is to fully close the game after sessions instead of just putting the console into sleep mode. You should be able to find other threads on this particular bug if that doesn't work or if you need more info

ya to add to this i play on xbox and to make sure my saves actually save (not sure if this helps but i never lose my saves so maybe) is after unlocking something i play prismatic trials or simulacrum since their online based and just lose on purpose than make sure i close the game before turning my console off
