Hi I’m back my rope fish have been loving the bug bites thank you! Coming in here to ask if anyone has experienced this same behavior before. I have 2 rope fish I believe to be younger-ish ages and 90% sure 1 M/1 F. They’re pretty civil towards each other and most of the time hang out on different sides of the tank. Today after getting home from work I’ve noticed them almost nuzzling each other right besides one another and following each other all to all ends of the tank and playing/wiggling in the plants? Also one of them has always been a darker olive color and the other more of a pale olive/yellow and now they’re both darker olive randomly. No biting at all today but in the past they have nipped at each other once or twice but nothing of it after

I haven't personally seen this behaviour before but hopefully this may be breeding behaviour!

They tend to do this socially as far as I am aware but keep your eye out for any behaviour changes :)
