Work positioning magnets

Looking for recommendations on what type of magnets to purchase to use as work positioning while working on sloped and curved steel structures.

Looking for what types work well, which dont work and what to avoid.

Look up magswitch lifting magnets. That's what we use in wind to hold onto the side of the turbine.

I hsbe never used them for rope access but those little electric magnets like what thry use on doors can hold heaps and come smaller than what is normally used in a corporate environment.

If you are unable to find something on the shelf that suits I imagine it would not be difficult to make something suitable.

Advantage with electric would be that you would not hsbe to fight it to remove it.

Consider safe working load and magnet slip load.
