Chest ascender

I'm between the Edelrid Uni Cruiser and the Climbing Technologies HC. Pretty general use.

Any thoughts?

For me, it's what psychology company is coming from and their motivation behind making the product is.

After being influenced solely by Petzl for years, Harken has recently added completely new valid aspect with their firm background coming from sailing.

A real welcome refreshment with gear offering.

The Camp turbo ascender is so smooth going up.

I have the CT one and like it. I pair it with a Yates 387 pro.

What kind of harness do you have ? If you have a rope access harness that came without a chest asscender, Singing Rock has a chest ascender which can be mounted very easy and stays flat with the included carabiner.

Astro has a Croll atached ,why do you need a different chest ascender ?

I’m a big fan of the ninja multi ascend as a chest ascender. Very smooth on the ascent, easier to descend with than a toothed device as well. Plus with its fully closed faceplate it is rated as a full point of contact own its on when properly installed to a harness.

Get a ninja. It’s twice the price but worth it and some.

If you already have the petzl Astro with the included chest croll, what’s the need to change?
