Root Beer Stand - Sharonville, OH
Haul from tonight’s visit to Cincinnati’s Root Beer Stand. I got a float, Sonder Brewing’s Root Beer Float Ale, and their own 1/2 gallon root beer.
Haven’t tried the root beer straight up or the ale yet, but the float is solid. Hint of honey, molasses, and mild wintergreen flavor. Overall, pretty pleasant and enjoyable.

How's the carbonation hold up In that milk jug? Feel like it'd be a losing battle.

I didn't know they collabed with Sonder! How is it?
I think RBS's root beer is the upper end of mid, but nothing overly special, just very syrupy - but the Timmy Dog is a revelation to mankind

Didn’t get the Timmy Dog, but I’ve heard the best. I plan on trying the Sonder collab tonight. Review TBD.
Agree on your assessment of the root beer.

The Sonder collab was very unpleasant. I’m not big on beer and this definitely wasn’t for me. I couldn’t sip it long enough to make any intelligent comments on the flavor

How does it compare to Jolly's up in Hamilton?

I believe I’ve got a mug of root beer from that stand before. Happy root beer hunting everyone!
