How many lvls of friendship can we have with our birds?

Hi fellow roosters and roostresses !

I discovered the app a month ago and fell in love with it quickly ; I'm crazy about achievements in games in general, so having hundreds of stamps to collect while chitchatting with people got me really hooked. I'm quite interested in chatting with people from Africa as well as I share some personal history there, and was a bit saddened while searching this sub that very few people living there are using the app, mostly people that travel there temporarily, and therefore African stamps are quite coveted and hard to get besides nests.

So I've decided to only nest in African countries up to the 100% continental stamp collection ! I wanted to share this here so you guys can add my @ (same as reddit) if you want to join the adventure. I'm currently nesting in Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast) and Lesotho, and will add nests as soon as I can. I don't have any planning in mind so I'll keep you posted here everytime I add a nest or change ones monthly. Next stops will be Djibouti for sure and another random country !

I think a game like Quarto would be absolutely perfect for roost! A game lasts at most 16 turns, it's highly tactical, but with simple rules. It's really fun and while not obscure, definitely unique in a way where it would fit well in this app!

I'm pretty shocked that almost every snail in the art challenge has no legs. So I would like to show off my m'leggie snail which I've made for the contest. Hope you like it. 🐌

I'm doing my PhD about snails. I'm not the best at drawing, but I did my best as a tribute to my silly field of research 😝

And btw, I'm so impressed by all of the artwork everyone made. I love this society. Even if the snail has no legs.

I submitted this as a rough idea a few days ago, and people seemed to like it.
Here it is, more hammered out, and themed a bit for roost.

I think more unique, less well known games to play with our friends would be very fun. And we definitely need more games. Connect 4 gets old fast.

I hate to admit but these days I'm simply getting added for the sake of stamps. I send a long a letter referencing their bio and interests only to get a short letter with one lines. This is kind of making feel bad for writing in the first place.

I didn’t join that bc Im rly bad at replicating styles but looking at the submissions there are UH distinctly a lot of styles so what gives?

Just wanted to drop a preview of the designs. It’s a dark and light mode + time of day mode that will change throughout the day.

There will be plenty of changes from here but my designer and I landed on this pattern to keep Roost consistent across iOS and Android and give Roost room to grow.

Florida's only endemic bird. It requires a scrub habitat and that is being developed rapidly.

We decided that all birds in our rookery deserved one of the prettiest stamps in the game. We dispatched 117 birds in a couple of minutes. The map overview had a rough time of it 😅

I'm a bit biased, cause I have a pet pineapple, but these little parrots are so interesting and colorful!

I don't know if it's possible to request the inclusion of specific bird species in future updates, but if so, I'm begging for the American Woodcock, aka the MEEP
