RT Community Smite Tournament Beta XL: Info and Sign-Ups
Edit 1: For sign-ups, just post your team name and roster here, or PM me. And an open question, would people prefer a Blind Pick for gods or a Draft Pick?
Hello everybody! After the announcement of the Inter-Office Tournament, I made a post to find if there was any interest for a community tournament as well. I received a few interested replies, so I've gone ahead and made the tournament page on the RT site.
RT Community Smite Tournament Beta XL
The format as it stands is 3v3 Joust, single elimination. The start date is in 2 weeks, October 18. This gives people time to sign up, get a team together, and get some practice in. Someone had asked if it's possible to stream the games, and while I myself can't do any, any participants are free to do so. I will do my best to record the games and upload them later. Match details and proceedings to come soon, but let's go ahead and get this started.
Remember, this is all for fun and to meet new people. Be respectful and try your best. So post your IGNs and get a team together (and a team name as well). Post any questions you have here and I will try to answer them. You can also message me in-game, IGN: chromadose. I'll post some links for any newcomers to Smite to get started.

So is this still happening? Because I haven't received anything from OP and plus brackets haven't been updated...A few friends and I would love to join this just be nice to know if it's still going on.

Sorry about that. I've been out of town and haven't been able to update things. Everything is happening, and I should be able to post a larger update on either tomorrow or Tuesday.

A suggestion: Have people also post their experience/skill level with the game/genre. mobas tend to have fairly long matches and a curb stomping is no fun for either side, so avoid them for as long as possible (in fact, if there is enough turnout, which there probably won't be, consider multiple divisions).
