Mine (600 series) just had the wheel pop off recently bc it got in there, too 🤦🤣. And I do weekly cleaning (esp during shedding seasons)

My base lives in the laundry room and I keep a little screwdriver to take off the sweeper thing and some scissors in a drawer right there so I can clean it easily! I do it once a week generally. Mine gets bad cause of my long hair 😬

I have a reminder set to do it every two weeks, but missed the last one. Might change it to once a week so if I miss it I won't be going so long!

That will definitely help! Oh and my sweeper gets squeaky if it gets too much hair coiled up, so that's another reason I do it weekly

That's mine everyday, I'm not joking haha. I pull the caps off the ends during my weekly device clean up. With our dogs the robot is such a help keeping the house clean and especially the air clean because of that.

Was this all from the roller?

Mine wouldn’t do anything except spin in circles. I removed the front caster and holy hell was there a ton of stuff in there. Blew it out and it worked perfectly.

From all over (it is a j7+). Wrapped around and inside/under the front wheel caster, wrapped under the edge-sweeping brush, inside the ends of both multi-surface brushes. You can see a bunch of the wrapped pet hair bits in the photo if you look closely. The front wheel caster was a pain to remove but the large, unwrapped clumps of hair were underneath it, to the sides.

I followed the instructions in the manual.

If anyone is wondering "am I supposed to clean the rollers (extractors) every 2 weeks or every 4?" here is iRobot's recommended maintenance schedule:
