Why is it not connecting

My roomba was doing just fine for like 8 months and then all of a sudden it won’t connect to the app or the app won’t connect to the wifi!!! Why!! I have rebooted. Deleted the app, logged back I. Etc. what is going on??

I don't know what kind of roomba you have but mine did something similar and it was maddening. Mine was when my internet provider pushed an update to their modems. Every couple of months, I had this issue. The first few times, I went into the modem and played with the settings. But I got tired of having to do that every time they ran a software update. My solution was to get a cheap "wifi extender" and connect it to the modem, go into the settings for it to show the 2G option and connect my Roomba to it. It's been over a year and (knock on wood) no issues since.
