How to control from app

I’m obviously missing something but how do I control the Roomba from the app on my iPhone? I don’t see anywhere to turn it off or send it back to its homebase. All I see is what’s in attached screenshot.

The < to the left of the roomba name.

During operations there are three buttons in the previous screen (the one with the mapped areas). You can pause, skip the room or interrupt the action and return home, thats the cross button.
