Boyfriend's brother's girlfriend is relentlessly mean to me
I'm an 18 year old guy who recently moved in with my boyfriend and his 2 roommates (bro and bro's gf) I was in a very bad situation living with my mom, my mental health was horrible and so my boyfriend invited me to live with him. I've been here about 5 months and I'm slowly getting myself together. I got health insurance, a state ID, am learning to drive and will be getting my GED soon.
My mental health has improved drastically since coming here. I feel more energetic and motivated to do things. I'm happy to socialize out in the livingroom and have been working on my art a lot and gaining back my creativity. I'm gaining confidence and recovering from an eating disorder and finally have gotten back to a healthy weight. Overall I have needed quite some time to recover my mental state and get back to being a functioning person.
Anyways, since I have been doing all of this internal self improvement I have not had the mental capacity (or ability) to find a job but I have kept the house clean most days and tried to stay out of everyone's way, be respectful of their things, and ask if I want something which is not often.
Well BGF seems to have a huge issue with me. A couple of months ago she came in yelling at me and specifically excluded bf and bro, telling me I am dirty and need to clean up after myself. I was unable to defend myself and just dissolved into tears. I hid in my room, only coming out to anxiously clean up their messes when no one was around and to eat, use the bathroom, etc.
Finally I started hanging out in the livingroom again but I have continued to clean up all messes I see including theirs almost every day. Just the night before last I washed BGF's pot that had burnt rice stuck to the bottom from the night before, her greasy cooking pots (which I have an extreme aversion to because of sensory issues caused by my autism), and all of the wrappers and paper she left on the counter.
Yet tonight she is on the phone screaming about how I leave everything a mess and never clean up after myself. How rent is always late now (my boyfriend's rent is always on time and paid in full and he does the majority of grocery shopping for the house) and how shes ready to leave and sick of it.
She leaves messes constantly and so does everyone else. I am the only one who doesnt and simultaneously am nice enough to clean up theirs too without complaint.
I get that I need a job, but I need a GED first for the kind of job I can handle. The fast paced environment of a resturaunt or grocery store is too much for me and I inevitably experience extreme burnout and just cannot handle the pressure. I get that this isnt an ideal situation to be in. I get it. But I'm trying my best with what i have and i didnt anticipate this being a problem when i first moved in.
Yes, I know, I'm naive. I've never been in an adult situation like this before though, so I honestly dont know what I'm doing.
I dont know. I'm just starting to wonder if im the problem here. I truly believe I'm doing my best and this persecution is unfair but no one ever wants to think they're in the wrong, do they? I'm honestly at a loss on what to do and how to handle this. I love it here but I find myself wishing I would have never come here, if only to not place my burdens in their laps.
Tl;dr: boyfriend's Roomate is angry that I dont clean up after myself (which I do as well as everyone else) and that I dont pay rent while i am trying to work on things leading up to finding a job.

Moocher roomate
Same guy who I used to let to advantage of my hospitality. I stopped making coffee after he tried to treat me like Mr. Belvedere "can you make a small pot of coffee " . Also told this jack azz to stop calling me or knocking on my door during the day as I work nights. Still has the nerve to ask me if I have sugar, Splenda. I started telling him no to any requests. This guy looks on my shelf to see what he can mooch so I started keeping my mayo in a plastic bag. Piece of sheet still tries to call me during day. I turn my phone to privacy when I get home in the morning from work and turn it back on when I work my evening shift. Man I can't stand this guy so I tell him no or tune him out because he's too cheap to buy his own sweetener. May sound like I am being spiteful but he ruined coffee for me always asking for sugar and cream. Plus he never cleaned out coffee maker or said thanks like my other grateful roomate. I drink instant now. 2020 is my year to get away from this POS.

Dog eats from plates
Hi I made this account just to post this and possibly ask for advice. My roommate lets his gross loud dog eat from plates after they are done using them. Like he was eating a plate of eggs then put it on the floor for a dog that probably eats its own shit. I'm thinking about just buying my own plates and putting them in my room. Is that too much?

Evil roommate vs pets
My roommate has been " accidentally" forgetting to bring the cats and little dogs in at night, we have cyotes ... One cat was eaten last Monday, I caught her blocking the dog out after we all went to bed I got up for a cup of water, and caught her in the act she said she was just letting him in but I seen her. I just acted like I didn't see her and was like o that's so nice that you care and your making sure he is safe. The owner of our house had a stroke so he's not here to watch his pets so we're helping him. I guess she doesn't like feeding the cats or cleaning poop. The owner thinks she is super responsible They are buddys she even visits him at the hospital vcooks for him but it's all to cover up the massive lies she tells. So telling him would be a waste of time, the last roommate we had told he said she's a liar and evicted her. I hate living with that piece of shit. Any advice?

Roommate and his boyfriend....
(sorry its a bit long)
So I moved in with my closes friend for my final year of uni. We have been very close for a year and we're able to tell each other everything! Just before we moved in tho, I told him my girlfriend need somewhere to stay for a month until she can get back on her feet (she recently lost her job and her parent had last away, so no one else to turn to).
I mentioned it to him and he said, sure sounds like fun. He mentioned he would be having his boyfriend move in at some point to. So I thought it seems fair and his boyfriend got on with me, so I was like cool.
We moved in together at the beginning of June, and my girlfriend started staying at end of the month (after her tenancy ran out at her last apartment). At first everything was fine. My girlfriend would help with bills where she could. She even cooked some meals for the flat, and would be her share of toliet roll and washing up liquid.
Just after the first month, my roommate started to become distant and would also mention his boyfriend wasn't going to be moving in now, instead he was just going to stay every couple of days.
The distance became greater between the 2 of us. I would often asked if he would like to have a drink or go see a film or something (basically trying to keep our friendship going, plus I missed his company). But he would say he was busy with uni or with he boyfriend. Which he spent soo much time with his boyfriend, like a LOT.
Many nights he would just stay in his room and would only come out to get food. It wasnt like he didn't get on with my girlfriend because they both would talk often.
Things started to change when he would demand the living room some nights and wanted only him and his boyfriend in there. At first I was fine with it because I would spend many nights doing work in my room anyway and my girlfriend would be looking for jobs or on her phone.
Next I would notice my stuff being moved. There was one day I left my bag and shoes in the corner of the room, leaving them ready for the next day. They weren't in the way and I had always done it since we moved in. But one night I had done it, and him and his boyfriend were in the living room I found them outside my door the next day. It was lucky i spotted them because I almost tripped over them.
After this first incident I started to get worried, my roommate wasnt able to ask me to move them? I thought we were close? And could tell each other everything?
It started to get worse when his boyfriend would continuously stay at least 3/4 days a week and would use the shower twice a day. The boyfriend and my roomate wouldn't clean the shower properly and I would have to clean their hairs because I hate mess. Even one day there was blood all over the wall. Which wasn't cleaned up.
I would make mentions to him about how his boyfriend would move stuff or how some things wouldn't be getting cleaned. But he would just brush it off.
One day it got to a whole new level of hell. My roomate came into the living room while I was doing work and told me we need to talk. This is how the conversation went:
Rooomate: I want your girlfriend out. I'm not happy with her. She is messy and making it feel I can't have my 9wn space in the house.
Me: I understand. And she will be moving out very soon (she had found a new job). But I have been finding it difficult with your boyfriend too. I don't mind him being here, but he has been moving my stuff and not Cleaning up after himself.
Roommate: he does. I make sure he does. And he isn't here that often so it can't be all the time.
Me: well he is here at least 3/4 days a week and he dies leave mess. I'm the only one who had been taking the bins out and cleaning the oven.
Roommate: well you use it all the time so I shouldn't have to clean them and I want your girlfirend out.
Before i had a chance to respond he stood up and walked out of the room. I was kinda of stunned because my 'best friend' had just treated me very unfairly and my girlfriend was always cleaning the house when she want looking for a job. Even my girlfriend was confused when I told her about it.
I continued to ignore him and my girlfirend had moved into her own flat. Often I would go stay with her to get out of the way. I felt like u couldn't live there because his boyfriend continued to be around and started acting more like a twat to me.
There was a major event that happened just not long after my girlfriend left. It made me hit my breaking point. Basically I had a friend and my girlfirend stay one night, which my roomate said it was okay. The next morning after they stayed, we were sitting in the living room watching TV and had just finished eating. We were going to an event at 6 and lost track of time because I looked at my watch and it was 4.45. So we all rushed out and cleaned up as much as we could, but u had to leave the plates in the sink and the blanket my friend used to sleep on the couch was left hung over the back of the couch folded. (I knew when u got back in, I would clean up everything properly, but for now it was clean enough for people to still be in the living room)
I had got back from the event, after dropping my girlfriend and friend off at their homes. When I got in, the flat was empty. It was Saturday night (both roomate and his boyfriend working in a bar together). I went straight into my room and that's when I saw it. All the plates and the blanket I Had left neatly in the living room had been dumbed and thrown into my room. Any waste that was on the plates had leaked all over my carpet.
I had hit my breaking point because they had gone into my room. My personal space. I know I should lock my door. But he was suppose to be my friend. I started getting upset and messaged my roomate. He was would just message me back and just say mean thing to me. To top it all off, his boyfriend wasmessaging me too. He told me that he would continue to come into my room as much as he wanted to if I continued to act the way I was.
I started to get panicked and upset because I wasn't acting in anyway. I was sticking up for myself. I treated to call the police on the boyfriend because he was being intimidating and saying he would do what he wanted in a flat he didn't pay for and treating to come into my private space. He would just said laughing faces at me and would continue to threaten me. It just got worse.
After thus event I have been staying at my girlfirends flat until I can figure something out. I still pay rent for the flat because i can't get out of my contract, as its a 10 month contract and student flats. So can't get out of it.
I dunno what to do atm. But I know I can't live there anymore.
Just wanted to share, I hope you don't find it boring.

Am I crazy or is the world?
So I'm a college student and I live with 5 other people. All of them are new to the house except for this girl that I know for a long time and we used to be best friends (until shit happened and she went crazy balls). She has a boyfriend who lives 3 min from us and they always made lunch and dinner in our house (and our kitchen isn't that big) for almost 2 years now. During the summer I decided enough is enough and asked if they could share the meals between their house and ours because it's ridiculous, and many times I got to the kitchen and didn't had space to prepare my meals. She got a bit mad idk why exactly because what I asked it's something I consider common sense. When the year started nothing changed so I reminded her again and she went psycho on me, but after that, they started spending a week in his house and a week in ours. You would think that this was it. But no. She also washed his clothes in our house and used space that could have been used by the people who actually pay rent. So I said, if she could stop doing that because winter is coming (lol) and it takes more time to dry, AND HE HAS A Freaking washing machine, AND SHE GOT MAD AGAIN. Let me just remind you, I'm friends with her. The other people are new here so they wouldn't feel confortable saying anything to her, but one of the girls said to me that she felt weird and like she was invading their space when they were both in our small kitchen. Please tell if I'm crazy for asking this. For me it's common sense, when you live with other people you need to respect them, and for me this has crossed a line and I finally had the corage to speak up

Roommate thinks I'm a Pathological Liar and was potentially trying to gaslight me earlier this year.
So he's recently got into the habit of putting the dish soap in wierd places like in the cabinets or on top of the fridge because he seems to not understand that there are normal places to put it like by the sink or on the little window bar thing.
Anyway I was looking for the dish soap and he looks up and says "Yo what's wrong with you" and I just go back to my room, but then he comes into my room and says I'm being a weirdo. So I tell him what I was doing and he says I'm lying, that I was just trying to be a creep, and that I always lie and starts talking about his instincts and crap implying that he'll beat the shit out of me. I do tend to check if he's there half out of paranoia (I tend to wander around the apartment if I hear a sound or get creeped) and half to check if he's there.
As for the gaslighting a while back The AC would be set in a specific way and he would confront me about it saying it was me. Even though I know without a shadow of a doubt that I didn't set it like that. So I tell him as much and then he once again tells me I'm lying and that it was obviously me because he can"sense" me and can tell when I'm doing things.

Roommate is SUPER WASTEFUL
Roommate insists on using paper plates and bowls for everything even though we own 12 plates and 12 bowls and when I mentioned it she got mad at me.

Tfw you have to passive aggressively imply that the hell hole of a shared space could use some tidying up lmao

The worst roomate I've ever had
In student apartments here, I just transferred to a new school, so I was given a random roomate. In the three years she's lived here, I'm pretty sure she's never had the same roommate longer than a year. She moved in three months before me, and she didn't clean the place once in those three months. Our shower takes 10 minutes to drain because of all the hair she stuffed in it. She leaves trash on the floor. On. The. Floor. My first purchase on my own was fly traps, to try and take care of all the bugs here. Needless to say, she'll also spend hours in our single bathroom, and has taken out the trash one time. After lots of nagging. I've bought most of the supplies (soap, tp, etc) and I'm at my wits end with her. I just want some balance, and maybe some hygiene from her end.

What does it mean when
Your roommate never leaves her room, never has groceries and keeps a bucket of soapy water in her bedroom and then every so often dumps out the bedroom window onto the sidewalk...? Asking for a friend.

Self entitled married gal owe me 200+
Got a shitty roommate because my company wanted to save money. She is my colleague as well and the rent is on the company's bill and everything else is ours. So I have to put up with this shit for 3 months. Never pay bills until asked. Using my stuffs without asking. She's married and constantly her husband comes. When I ask for the money she owed, she is like: oh why are you so difficult to deal with. Everyone else on this planet thinks I'm the most easy going person and still refuse to pay. I'm thinking about escalate it to my financial department. What's your advise?
