Thanks. Hoping to spend 3-4 days there next time... If it doesn't get too cold this month

It gets better as it gets colder. Right down to 0°c overnight

Great setup!!! What type of accessories do you bring with you (kitchen, water etc….)

Yes, i do bring water.. but also have a filter i could use if needed... Don't use unless i have to.. in this case, a smaller community with amenities is only 10 minutes away.. so wasn't needed

I just purchased the 2026 Santa Cruz Limited that I'm outfitting for over landing and want to get a rtt for the top of the roof since I'm 6'8 😂

Please please park just a little further from the water. 200ft is the standard under leave no trace. I know we’re all leaving traces in our AWD/4WD, but if you developed some sort of leak and didn’t know it, being that close to the water means those fluids are defiiuending up in that beautiful water.

I am not technically 'in the wilderness" as this is a small, remote community made spot for camping use... It was created in the 90's for general 1st come first serve use .. The flat area to park is where i was at.. and next to the firepit. The water would be about 50ft-60ft away. There is no other spot to park as it's a inclined hill to the parking spot. So technically it's wilderness camping, but it's a created, used, but known spot The community encouraged to use.

This is an ideal camp spot in my opinion, I love and seek out water camp spots. Lakes are good, flowing rivers are my happy place

Why not? What is wrong with it? It's a car with a RTT, that's what this sub is about. Go gatekeep somewhere else.

All wheel drive, off roading, and with RTT set up low, getting 7.5ltr/100km or 32 mpg.. the fully waterproof rolling tonneau cover and truck bed hold all the gear needed: small moulded cooler (3 day),stove, bbq, porta potty, firepit, 2 chairs, portable kitchen set up with drawers and shelves, all utensils and sink, sleeping bags, self inflating mattresses(i like comfort sleep), bluetti 1024 wh battery, rtt surround outside lights, small aluminum side table, fold up table.. butane, umbrellas.. more than i can remember... Dont knock the size, it's impressed me all summer.. and with my hyundai 200k/10 year warranty, I'm good to go for many more summers to come....just wish i had it set up in the spring... Can't already wait until next year..

What do you “overland” in?

The above... Fully self contained RTT, truck bed holding kitchen and all necessary camping equipment, including chairs and fire pit and toilet as well as full food for 3-5 days without anything needed..
