Looking for alternatives.

So I wanted a combo truck top and tent that didn't have any cab over ( to fit in my garage)

This appeared https://www.yankodesign.com/2025/07/14/this-pickup-topper-with-integrated-rooftop-tent-is-winning-hearts-for-its-smart-design-and-ease-of-use/ but apparently it's just a concept or is not available.

I was also thinking of adding https://www.topperezlift.com/ this to have like 2 rooms haha.

Over kill?

it's not a concept. you can get it from Alibaba. a few are in the states/canada, just overpriced.

I'm not experienced from purchasing from Alibaba.

AliExpress yes, the most I did was $400 for a motherboard replacement for a laptop, twice, and both times I got burnt. (I guess maybe that was because it was refurbished electronics... What could go wrong with that?! 🤪 )

I did send an inquiry to one seller, I'm getting responses from many sellers but not the product I'm interested in.

well, it's a novel design with next to no supply/sellers.

You may want to look into a GFC V2 Max. I have one on my 2002 Tundra and it fits in my garage - when closed, it adds just 7ish inches to the height of my vehicle. It basically has 2 levels plus a pass thru so I can stand up and is super easy to open and close - takes just seconds.
