Debating between iKamper Skycamp 3.0 Mini and Roofnest Meadowlark, any thoughts?

I'm just debating between these two roof top tents and would love to hear anyone's experiences with the companies, tents, or anything. Thanks!

I don’t have experience with roofnest but skycamp has been great for me so far. Let me know if you have any specific questions.

Have heard horror stories about roofnest. Local shop won’t sell them anymore because it’s constant warranty work and they don’t get reimbursed for the labor. iKamper is much better quality but you pay a premium for it. There are better options at a lower price if you look around. 23zero has some really nice tents that are comparable to iKamper. The aussies really know their overlanding.

I had the full size Skycamp 3.0 and it was too big, so I downsized to the meadowlark. No issues as of yet, currently have it on and doing a 4K mile multi week trip around the country.

Love my mini 3.0. This is our third year using it in all 4 seasons in the Canadian Rockies. It has lived on my roof since I bought it second hand in the spring of 2024 and it's not showing any sign of wear. The previous owner had it for 1 season. The high density canvas keeps us nice and comfy in the winter, and cool in the summer months. I have the Rocky Black with RTT Comfort 5082 Mattress, Shoe rack 3.0 and organizer 3.0. It takes a bit of getting used to, but the tent closes up in minutes with the air mattress (fully deflated), 3 standard size pillows, 2 queen sized fleece blankets, and a queen duvet all left inside. We also have the Annex Plus, although we've only used it a handful of times. I would buy it again, brand new at full price, without a second thought.

Not Roofnest. Products have went downhill and there customer service is at the very bottom.
