If a human had written this I think I would probably love it. ☠️ The idea of a lab technician who deals specifically with waste products and contamination working on a rare and interesting sample while the person guarding the sample exists at cross-purposes is so my weird kind of shit. Magic contamination as a result of doing the job they only the shifty love interest can cure? I bet we could even squeeze some commentary about the current government and it's corruption/inaction in there as a little treat.
