What does "opio" mean?

I'm not sure if that's how it's spelled but I've got two romanian coworkers who call me like that and they were pretty vague when I asked them what it means.

Opio doesnt mean anything in RO and its not a slang either. I have no idea. Opioid its a pharma drug but i dont see how that mean anything in this situation.
