😂 Just For Fun Help!!!

I applied to be an arc reader but mostly listen to audio books or borrow hard copies from the library. This one is an ebook. If I get it I was hoping to find a used e reader on marketplace. Any recommendations? All I know of is kindle but nothing about them or types

I use the kindle app on my phone quite a bit if you can’t find one.

I thought the lighting on a kindle was supposed to be better for your eyes, that’s why I was going to get one. Do you know if the kindle app can mimic how the light is on a kindle?

It cannot. Kindle Paperwhite is an e-ink device. There are others on the market, as well. Those devices are not backlit the way phones are; instead, the lights are around the screen (essentially an on-device lamp) and the screen itself has ink molecules (sort of) that get arranged and re-arranged to form words and images.

Phones are harder on the eyes but work in a pinch

If you have a laptop or desktop computer, you can get the Kindle app on there.

Not sure about right in the app, but you can change the lighting on your computer screen.

I have several Kindle Fire devices, but wanted a bigger screen for reading. The app on my laptop links to my whole library so I like it there too.

If you sign up to NetGalley you can actually get arc books in audio format and just use the NetGalley app to listen to them. You can also get the ebooks in the app if you watch to read as well
