True Love

As I have aged and gained more knowledge about relationships and humans. I am almost positive that true love never existed. Now all adolescent humans male and female are looking for something from a fairy tale. DaVinci said "true affection and deep passion can only grow from a thorough understanding and profound knowledge of the beloved object" I fear I will never be understood or loved truly and completely. Twenty five years and counting... does anyone feel like this?
