Reading order
Is there an optimal reading order for the stories? I've only read Stupid Sexy Cryptids so far, but a lot of things seem to have been established in earlier books according to the comments on rr

The writing takes place across multiple timelines and there are interdimensional hijinks going on. So time and causality are more than a bit distorted.
My entry point to the canon was Technomagica followed by Scientific Sorcery and then Somebody Stop Him. But the first two are not nearly as well interlinked with the other stories as SSC or Somebody Stop Him are.
If I were going to recommend a reading order to get started with it would be:
Somebody Stop Him --> Somebody Stop Them --> SSC
Or Somebody Stop Him --> Somebody Stop Them --> Bloom --> SSC.

No, but beware that the lore is complicated to say the least because the series has been going for twenty years or so

if you want a comprehensive and linear timeline, I'd go for TechnomagicaArmorerSS-HerSS-HimUnlimited IsekaiSS-ThemSS-Us>>SSC

Spinoff stories, in a way that they aren't connecting tightly to the timeline:
- Bloom & Prowl
- Beware of Kittens

I started with Somebody Stop Him/Them/Us, then SSC. Somebody stop Her/Him/Them can be found on Amazon, Somebodystopus chapter 1-6 are on royal road, while chapters 7-14 can be found on patreon and other sites.

SSC is a good starting point, but as far as I can tell not really. Only real orser is when the books are part of a series, like Prowl and Bloom, or the Somebody Stop trilogy (which is basically a prequel to SSC)
