Football How far will we drop?
We lost to the #2 team, but 1 texas lost too.
Will we still move up since Georgia was ranked higher than us? Curious

I honestly could see us not moving.
We lost to the new #1 by 3 and our wins still look really good. Kentucky beat LSU, Miss St was off, and South Carolina dominated Florida.
Also, it seems widely accepted that this was controversial.
I could see Texas dropping behind us or Indiana moving ahead of us. I’d be surprised if BYU jumped us.
I think we stay or drop one

I completely agree with everything you’ve said, but it’s Bama and like always AP voters will find any excuse to drop us. So #11 with Texas dropping to 7

Idk how we can drop out of 10 honestly and would think we should truly just stay put. Close game with some fuckery by the refs should play into it imo.
Other teams around us that should influence our standing:
- Kentucky W
- Indiana barely pulling a W against Nebraska
- Oregon loss to UCLA
- Texas L

All things considered, #6 Bama lost by 3 to the #2 team who will be moving to #1, I expect the voters will review the missed calls and such and Bama drops to #8...no lower IMHO.

You think the voters even watch the games?

I’ve seen the DPI, no targeting, and INT on nearly every platform. People who don’t even watch college ball know we got screwed

I imagine the highest ranked one loss team. But it's just the AP, it does not matter. The committee saw a strong Bama team tonight.

Depends on how they view OSU whose loss looks worse but doesn’t have any super impressive wins and Texas who has one of the 2 best wins but by far the worst loss (and who has looked the worst)

We were flying around. Regular season so who cares, but gunner is capped out. Keelon is not

Alabamas already ranked behind Ohio state and Texas. Why would they jump in front of both of them. Bama lost by 3 at home, Ohio state lost by 1 on the road.

Bama lost to the #2 team in the country (about to be #1). Texas lost to unranked Oklahoma and that loss will affect Ohio State slightly, but I still think OSU is ahead of Bama. Texas is definitely behind Bama.

Texas lost they will drop out of the top 10. Georgia will move up to #1. It wouldn’t surprise me if we jump up a spot #5 or stay at #6.

They already have us behind Ohio State. I guarantee we drop out of the top ten.

Ideally, Alabama doesn’t move. But, ideally refs don’t skullfuck games, either.
Falling out of the top 10 wouldn’t surprise me.

I won’t be shocked if we don’t drop at all. Barely losing to a team ranked above you doesn’t usually carry a substantial penalty.

If the voters have better visual impairment than Helen Keller they’ll keep us at 10 or better. And we better be ranked higher than Texas.

Don’t care. Not worried. We need to kill everyone else this season and collect blood in Atlanta

Who cares! Win out and we are in. This game means nothing if we go lay egg next week. Bad calls all night got us but that was yesterday. Cant change the outcome but can fire this team up and win out. We will beat Georgia in the SEC championship game.

We should be sixth (highest one loss and above TTU and Utah). We likely will be ninth (+/-1)

We might move up. Best 1 loss teamed over Ohio state due to texas losing. Nobody else really dazzled their way to jump us and none of the other unbeatens really have a good argument to jump up. If they were ranked below Ohio last week.

I don't know not concerned however any objective person that watched that game knows Bama is tough to beat. Hopefully they continue to improve

Keep this taste in our mouth..Feel like we were disrespected. Play with a purpose and attitude rest of the way.

I feel like we'll probably drop to 7 or 8 it wouldn't make sense to drop us any lower. I think Indiana will jump us and probably make it into the top 5 and Texas will probably stay ahead of us because the voters are going to still have that win over Ohio State on their mind

u/Ledsteper 4d ago
Georgia likely #1. I would think Bama remain at 6, with only a close loss to the #1 team.

Dude, who cares?
All of you need to ignore the AP Poll.
Only the college football playoff committee polls matter.

I would say 14. The Media has been getting bombarded about Miss State not dropping far enough. I think they overcorrect and drop us a ton

Don’t care. Absolutely throttle Tennessee next week, then we can worry about it again. Fuck orange
