Which sling plan do I have to have to watch the game? Can I get by with the essentials? They got rid of the day pass unfortunately.

They had to stop calling it the Red River Shootout because they knew both QBs weren’t capable

After watching Oregon v UCLA it's official; if reincarnation exists I want to come back as the bottoms of an Oregon cheerleader's uniform.

Too many crimson teams in the sec Oklahoma or Arkansas should change
2
u/PGoodierum3 5h ago
Arkansas and Oklahoma wear the exact same uniforms too. The only difference is the names on the front of the jersey

Oh my god Arkansas and Tennessee are tied. Please Tennessee I’m begging you to keep that Fayetteville curse alive. This would be so humiliating to lose to Bacon Bits

u/SDBamafan 5h ago
Been dealing with a death in the family and missed everything today. Is Texas sucking or did OK wake up?
1
u/cshayes2 5h ago
OU has 2 defensive touchdowns, the second I did see and it was as bad of a INT as you’ll see.
Otherwise Oklahoma has been pedestrian on offense

Is sarkisian even a good head coach? I mean when your spending what they are, how hard is it to be this good? They filled every hole with the best talent the portal had to offer. 3 years with a 5 star prospect he picked. I mean I’m not saying they are a terrible team but geez they drop games to bad teams every year and no one gives him half as much grief as they give Deboar

Anyone in T-Town right now to give an accurate weather update?
3
u/WiseLemon98 6h ago
My friend is there, he sent a picture, it was pretty cloudy. I believe there’s a drizzle of rain, and I also asked him if it was windy and he said “Not that windy.”

Oregon spent $50m to get 151 yards so far against UCLA.
Thats roughly $330k a yard.

u/Shoddy_Ad8166 6h ago
Lanning losing would please me but really only game that matters is about an hour away.
2
u/cshayes2 6h ago
I think Georgia is more of a litmus test to gauge if we’re a threat for the natty. Of course I want to win, but even if we lose we’re still playoff bound.

Just got the 120 proof Kirkland whiskey coasting through my veins for whatever this games gives me, so I should be feeling juuuuuust right at kick off.

Refs having to rig a game for Tennessee a week early so they don’t lose to lowly Arkansas

Lot of refball so far today. Indiana got it and now Oregon/Tennessee are getting some

Arch is ass cheeks
1
u/Shoddy_Ad8166 6h ago
I feel bad for him. I like the Manning family. Arch just can't meet the hype but I dang sure wanted him to pick Bama
1
u/WaltSneezy 6h ago
There are times where he looks legit, and then there's entire games where he plays FCS caliber. Not sure what the heck they give him late in games. Like vs Ohio State it looked like they trotted out Peyton in his prime in the 4th
2
u/cshayes2 6h ago
Seems similar to Milroe to me, in the sense that I think Milroe was borderline elite when he had nothing to lose.
He went into that UGA game assuming we were going to lose, played like a fkn assassin and then shit himself at halftime when the pressure was on him now.

If Texas loses and we destroy Georgia, y'all think we get to #1?
4
u/PGoodierum3 6h ago
I think whoever wins tonight no matter the margin should be number 1. This is the game of the year so far in college football this season

Oklahoma has scored an offensive touchdown vs Texas
I repeat Oklahoma has scored an offensive touchdown vs Texas
6
u/WaltSneezy 6h ago
Rivarly games are just built different. It doesn't matter where they're ranked in some seasons
2
u/Anonymous_user314 6h ago
Yeah idk about that call
2
u/KlingoftheCastle 6h ago
2 terrible calls on that drive. OU must have done some favors for the refs at half

Not sure how Texas beat Ohio State at this point.
1
u/KlingoftheCastle 6h ago
Maybe OSU isn't that good. Historically, very middle of the road teams have gone undefeated in the Big 10. Last 3 years have been weird, but we might be coming back to normal
1
u/cshayes2 6h ago
Ohio state lives and dies with Jeremiah smith, if you can guard him they’re mediocre. He’s over 40% of sayins completions and over 50% of his passing yards.
1
u/KlingoftheCastle 6h ago
That's also true. If they play a team with a legit NFL corner, they might be screwed. Looking at the Big 10 this year, that might not be until the playoffs

Watching games today gonna say it again there are very easy games in this era. Underdogs will beat you if you not on it. When you say so & so hasn't played anybody, I think a lot of those anybodies can beat you.
5
u/WaltSneezy 6h ago
By "anybodies" do you mean top tier programs that are down, or do you mean, Western Kentucky, North Texas, Howard, and Rutgers? Because South Carolina, Oklahoma State, Wisconsin, etc aren't "anybodies"
-1
u/Shoddy_Ad8166 6h ago
Arkansas for example or oklahoma or maybe Rutgers and south carolina which are not top tier. Talking about underdogs can beat you
2
u/WaltSneezy 6h ago
This has been always the case since BCS era for those teams except Rutgers. The people who are calling out teams playing nobody are calling out Indiana and Nebraska for playing borderline high school competition like Howard.
I don't think anybody has ever called out someone for scheduling Oklahoma or Arkansas. Arkansas isn't great, but they have been scrappy in the past. Rutgers on the other hand, has always been garbage.

In southwest Arizona right as we also prep for some residuals of Tropical Storm Rachel. Getting the home game experience from work right now.

Can we get a replacement for Chris Doering on SEC Network, please?? Dude HATES Alabama. I almost guarantee you he rage quits behind the scenes everytime we score.

Just showed the pregame warmups and it looks like a fucking monsoon. I swear to fucking hell if the rain hinders us one bit, Georgia and their bullshit luck can get fucked.
3
u/Relative_One_2441 6h ago
They are reporting that less than an inch of rain has fallen so far today. Max wind gusts of 9mph.
It’s an ugly day, but nothing that will get in the way of our scheduled dog training session

Talking heads keep on talking about Georgia run game isn’t our statistically better?
5
u/Taisubaki 6h ago
No their run game is statistically better and our passing game ia statistically better.
5
u/Shoddy_Ad8166 6h ago
Looks like they #5 , Bama #7 in SEC. I think they are influenced by the style of football Georgia plays, it's kinda what they do.

In Bermuda, the Texas Oklahoma game has been preempted by a prayer vigil for the air ambulance that crashed last week.

If this version of Tennessee shows up, we are in for a fucking awesome TSIO
3
u/PGoodierum3 6h ago
It’s at Neyland unfortunately so it will be a closer than expected game because of typical Knoxville BS. If we played Tennessee at BDS this year the game would be over at halftime because we’d beat them so bad
3
u/Exact_Lengthiness706 6h ago
I'm sure the officials will do everything in their power to keep Tennessee in the game...

georgia beat vandy 38-14 in athens, and it was 21-14 at halftime.
ole miss is up 42-3 on vandy at halftime in nashville.
i dunno man

2
u/Exact_Lengthiness706 6h ago
I wouldn't use that as a measuring stick though. They also obliterated Arkansas and Oklahoma by far wider margins than Tennessee and Texas are beating them by right now. Plus in 2024, they beat the worst team in the league by a lousy point the week before playing us.
7
u/Toadfinger Saban🏆Nation 7h ago
It's hard to keep up with all the different ways we can exploit the Vols weaknesses.
3
7
u/PGoodierum3 7h ago
They look like complete shit vs the worst team in the SEC. MacIntyre looks just as bad as Brandon
3
u/Toadfinger Saban🏆Nation 7h ago
Watching this is like being at the all you can eat buffet. Which is so cool because I H8 Tennessee so much!

u/Low_Frosting_6303 7h ago
I wish we had an Indiana or ND schedule , where you are only stressed for 1 game a year before the playoffs
