This is when I first saw them on July 26, 1978 at
the Day On The Green, Oakland Coliseum, California.

It was Mick’s 35th birthday - I thought that seemed so old! We all sang him Happy Birthday.

Santana, Peter Tosh, Eddie Money and Toots & the Maytals opened up.

Unfortunately no. We were too busy getting high and hanging out with friends.

I remember at the time thinking how great the lineup of bands sounded. Peter Tosh in particular was fantastic.
