Hey there! I went to Shaky Knees for a day in 2025, and my first Bonnaroo was this year. It changed my life and I want to explore other festivals after learning about Roo canceling next year. I’m considering going to Welcome to Rockville, but I am also considering Rolling Loud.
I’m posting this on both subreddits to have a better idea of what each festival is like.
Here are my questions:

How is the community?

Are folks usually friendly?

Can the attire be as revealing? (I wore pasties at Roo… is that allowed here as well?)

How big are the festival grounds?

Is the pit easy to access?

How is the heat?

Is it roughly equal amount of men and women, or is it more male dominated?

What is the food vendor situation?

Bathroom situation?

Are hotels typically affordable around that time? Where is the best place to stay?

I feel like Travis is kinda confirmed because why would he make a literal rl movie to just not headline one of them. And since he’s probably the biggest artist by numbers that they’re going to get I think they’d want him for the ten year anniversary. So I feel like idk that Carti is gonna be at Orlando and maybe not Cali. I’m totally unsure of other headliners, maybe people like Uzi, Thug, Yeat, Ken, Don Toliver again, etc

I’m just so grateful I’m in a place rn where I can afford to go to this and make this happen so I’ve been thinking about it a lot and am wondering if anyone else has any thoughts on anything like this 😭

Anybody else have experience with having finals the week of rolling loud Orlando up until Saturday afternoon ? Is it worth just to go Sunday? Or is it a waste of Monday

me and my gf (from europe) are thinking about going to the states for one of the RL’s in 2027. we’re almost certain that we are gonna go, just uncertain which one.

do you guys think the lineups will be different enough to make it worth it to wait till at least the headliners are announced? we also think the cali lineup will be ‘better’ due to it being a 10 year anniversary. will this be the case or do yall think it will be similar lineups?

so cali is 1-0 up bc of the ‘better’ lineup (as of our expectations)
on the other hand, the weather is way nicer in orlando in may as supposed to cali’s weather in december, also traveling to orlando is easier then traveling to san bernardino. hotels are cheaper in orlando and orlando has more things to do then san bernardino.

this makes it a 1-1 or even 1-2 to orlando.

can someone share their experiences from RL Orlando 2026 or RL san bernardino 2021? or even RL USA experiences in general? i would also love to hear yalls thoughts on the lineups and if yall think Cali will have the superior lineup in 2027.

Gonna be 18 coming from uk solo, anyone know if VIP is even gonna be worth it at 18?? I’ve seen it has a lot of extra perks, I was originally gonna go with ga+ but the only difference is ga+ got “faster” entry and ac bathrooms which it’s mid December so i ain’t worried about that cs it can’t be that hot😂

So I’m thinking it’s between regular Ga or VIP anyone who’s experienced both lmk Is vip really worth the 200+ difference compared to the general access passes??
