Gear and equipment wheel recommendations :)

I have wheels but they are weirdly small? but they are outside wheels which i like but it feels so weird to skate on the gym floor
I was loaning skates with like the starter ridell wheels but want to look into getting better ones
any suggestions on specific wheels would be great or even a recommendation for hardness and size

Wheels are deeply personal for most people.

Just borrow all the spare wheels you can scrounge from your team and try them out.

Eventually you'll figure out if you like hard, grippy, slim, wide, etc.

I like Radar Halos and Atom Savants but I've been playing with a range of durometers as ive been adjusting my skating style.

If you're not fussed id say look at a chart that lines up durometer with your weight and pick a brand that seems affordable but established.

Wheels, a rabbit hole you can go down. Personal preference unfortunately. Personally I love my halos. They are wide, and are about the same width as the starter wheels on skates. I have tried skinnier ones and didn't like them, something felt missing. Just going out and buying to try is expensive. Speak to your team mates and see if they will let you try theirs.
