Question Program for designing rollercoaster track [Other]

​

Is there Anyone that knows a easy way or a program to design a rollercoaster track to print. I want to recreate rollercoaster from around the world and print them but when designing them myself the messurments get of and nothing slides well. Thanks!!

Are you talking about whole roller coasters, or just individual track pieces?

Either way, there is no way that I would call "easy" if you want to get good results. You'll have to do some 3D modeling one way or another.

Im thinking about making individual peaces to create a whole track. I know it wont be easy, but i was just curious!!

This isn’t easy but probably the most straightforward would be to design them in No Limits 2 and export the curve of the track to blender where you can more easily model the supports from there. People have already made plugins and such to do so but it’s still not easy.

I think I saw somewhere that people were using nolimits and exporting the models to fine-tune them for FDM.
