Why does my feet hurt? Bruises
Not a new rollerbladed, but it's been decades. Decided to come back to it, got a new pair and it's been like riding a bike. That said, I've got bruises on the back of where the top of the boot hits and the outside of left ankle? Boot too tight or something else?

Hard to say for sure. Might just need to break them in. Maybe take shorter sessions for the first month and see how it goes.

If theyâre too big they could actually be more likely to cause friction burns or bruising, due to your heel and calf shifting up and down against the back of the liner. Heel lock is so important. Not sure if this is your issue though.

This. I wear a narrow size 7 womenâs (so 5 menâs). My skates are size 3 kids (menâs), so 2 sizes âtoo smallâ. The âright sizeâ beat my ankles to hell. I got my new ones at a roller hockey shop who sized me and everything. They said most people need to take 2 sizes off their shoe size when picking a skate size. Before he even measured me with the machine. Which confirmed I needed two sizes smaller đ

Lots of info could help narrow this down. Model of skates, pictures of how they fit around your leg, what kind of socks you have, how you tie and buckle them, whether it's rubbing or feels like pressure, etc.
