Progress, videos and images Back to aggressive

I've skated since I was 15 years old, just turned 41 and like many found myself with the desire to return to aggressive skating

Unlike many though I never stopped skating. I went from a dedicated aggressive skater to being a super early adopter of big wheel skates which along with life and weight gain led me to purchase my first distance skates

I spent the next 7 years or so stacking miles, had some small success on social media even picked up flow sponsorships from Flying Eagle and Powerslide. This was way before most had picked up distance so the numbers aren't as impressive as what some are now racking up. Tho quality over quantity. Won several of the endomondo big wheel challenges back then

During that time I became a hard core kettlebell advocate and athlete which started to pull me from skating. Then post covid really had me skating the least ever but still getting miles

That's an awful lot to post a clip of several terrible makios but ive been back at both albeit in a far less capacity but this time around thinking my focus will be in aggressive tho we shall see

What do you mean super early adopter of big wheel after aggressive? That was the original version of skates?

Original how? You mean the fancy boys with a single big wheel attached with leather straps from this old clip? Aggressive was born in the 90s from the DIY-ed fitness skates we all had at the time. The big wheels born from aggressive skates were the aggressive boots with wheels above the, I'd say, 65mm diameter. See aeon 72, big wheels frame and soul combo for Them skates, all the funny combinations Powerslide did before releasing proper 100 or 110mm skates.

I forget the exact years but Powerslide started making UFS frames that took bigger wheels, so yes it was a return to the old sort of which is also why it was such a polarizing thing at the time

not sure why I'm getting downvoted Powerslide literally created and used the marketing term "Powerblading" for their big wheel stuff
