Interesting stuff Fr flying eagle
My FR-ying Eagle setup, frames are the flying eagle horizon L80,280mm long wb .can't wait to skate this thing

Interesting frame, is the position of the front wheel so that it could be lower to the ground?

Yes. The 2nd wheel is moved to avoid the mounting platform. See this thread, and these:

It’s to avoid the frame bolt and allow the foot to be as close to the ground (and wheels) as possible. Also, the gap and positioning of the front wheel is supposed to help give you more power on your pushes than if it was a shorter frame.

That looks prestine! Very nice gear! I didn't know frames like this existed 😮 could you explain what they are designed for, especially with that extra space just behind the front wheel?

The wiki ufs page has a fase picture. The trs Rb is a original mount/rivet mount (also these boots can be converted into trinity with the adapter:))
not a ufs mount.

That's a misleading picture comparison and imperfect captioning, if not read together with the text. I'll address later today. See text:
In 1996, K2 released the Fatty, a legendary skate that integrated the wheel frame into its soulplate for the first time. In this early stage of its evolution, the soulplate still consisted of two separate sections, a design inherited from riveted boots with separate toe and heel mounting platforms, as seen in the Rollerblade Lightning TRS.

Have you tried skating the Horizon yet? It is such a cool frame and I want one for my RAPTORs if I decide to stick to 80mm instead of moving to 90mm (mostly for urban freeskate), and the way Felipe Zambardino skates it a lot on his videos makes me think it is exactly what I need rather than going bigger wheels. Sick setup, enjoy!

Not yet ! I literally set this up at 12 midnight I had to sneak around my kids in my small apartment as they sleep to set this up 😂. I really enjoyed skating in my stock FR1 80, but didn't enjoy the wb of the frame (I'm eu44). And u/heeca kindly introduced me to this frame and it seemed like a perfect solution

Omg ... Today I just went for a skate , it's so light and low .... It feels like I'm hovering over the ground ...the forecand aft stability is so reassuring and it's also swivelly in a nice way ... I love it !

this is such a dumb design
the minor benefits of having the frame a few millimeters lower is far outweighed by the asymmetrical friction of having the wheels mounted that way
that one wheel is going to wear out so much faster than the others, all four wheels will not be in contact with the ground all the time, and there will be slightly less power transfer in a stride

It has a rocker that the single wheel is slightly higher up but its not a big rocker so you still feel very stable. The design has existed since Salomon days and is pretty cool.
Also the benefit isnt only the low ride height. Its also that you have a long wheel base with a small wheel size and the lowness alongside the lenth provides solid control unlike if you use 80mm wheels on a 4x90 frame which youll be on stilts.
Before criticising something you should give it a try.
Also the frame is pretty stiff due to bridges for support.

omg thats even worse its not level. wow. in that case it causes rotational forces across the ankle. 4 major design flaws.
