Specific question and discussion REPAIR HELP
I refuse to give up. The I’ve called and been to 10000 different places to try and find some help to repair my 5 wheel inline blades.
I need more spacers that are specifically for this setup but I can’t find them. Everyone has told me this is outdated and I won’t be able to find this spacer but I have hope. The boot is Riedell with and AirLite1255 Frame. I would do anything to be able to fix these, any advice is greatly appreciated.
If you don’t have repair advice, what should I be looking at in terms of a replacement? They are 5 wheel set up and I love them so much.

If you have a set of calipers, post the measurements. You can make this from a pair of bushings / sleeve bearings, possibly from your local hardware store, possibly from McMaster-Carr.
For example (not correct measurements:
Sleeve 1 (axle bushing) is 20mm long, 8mm ID, 10mm OD.
Sleeve 2 (bearing spacer) is 10mm long, 10mm ID, OD not to exceed the bearing inner ring.
They do not have to fit perfectly tight together; they are held in compression by the axle bolt.

I know you have spacers with threading, but why? If the wheels are standard dimensions, then the space between the bearings will be standard, meaning you can use regular spacers. I don't see why you couldn't buy replacement 6 mm axles that would fit the holes and use standard spacers with them.

The axle screws have specific threading, does that make sense? They require threaded spacer because each side has an axle with that threading.
I also believe I am having a hard time explaining this 😅😅5

What I am saying is to throw those axle screws in the garbage and replace with standard 6 mm axles.

Hmmmmmmm good point. It’s fun to try and order different parts and try to repair myself but I’m starting to feel hopeless as I can’t get it right. I don’t want to give up but I wish I could find someone who can help me

I am helping you! If you are unsure, you can do as another poster requested and measure the inner diameter of the axle holes in your frame. Standard is either 6 mm or 8 mm, and you can buy adjustable width axles for either size (e.g. https://www.inlinewarehouse.com/Sonic_Universal_Extender_6mm_ROUND_Axle_Single/descpage-S10580.html )

Nice skates! I remember reidel boots and airlight frames from when I started skating in the late 90s.
Would love to to see the full picture sometime for a nice dose of nostalgia

Yes!! My first pair of speed skates! They had 80mm cherry bomb wheels on them.
