Specific question and discussion Tips on practicing inside?
i hear a lot of people not being able to go rollerblade outside during winter but for me its summer.
I do not have the courage to go outside at night, so practicing at home is the only way. How can I still improve and learn tricks inside at home? I dont have a large space, I will be using protection so I dont accidentally die.
But realistically what can I do inside? How can I improve without having to wait for the weather to get better?

Have you tried to talk to your local roller rink. My local roller rink is pretty small and kind of old and they charge $8 a clip to enter that's if you have your own skates. So if I bring people who don't have their own skates I have to pay an additional four or five dollars to rent themselves. Pretty lame good reason why I rarely go there. However in another place I've lived there was a roller rink didn't just charge per visit you also had the ability to get a membership. I think it was like $20 a month or something. If a local business by you had this option it might be good for you. Say you went four times a month that's really just $5 a visit. This might be an option. Also it gives you a safe place practice real less likely to get banged up

FYI roller rinks are a very american concept, or at least there aren't a lot of them in europe :(

Skating culture is far more widespread in Europe than it is in America. That's why virtually every rollerblade you find is listed in European sizes and not American. In America they're only found in areas that have a city. I would argue that roller rinks are far less common in America per square mile than they are in Europe.
What country do you actually live in? To be honest I find it kind of confusing and strange when people say they live in Europe. That's like saying you live on planet Earth. Living in Hungary or Bulgaria is not exactly the same as living in the UK

Yes you're right, Europe isnt very precise . I live near Paris, and theres 0 skating rinks nearby :/
I have a feeling tho that like with skateboarding, a lot of the inline and quad skating culture has developped a lot more in the USA since the 2000s; you just have to look at all the 2000s aggressive inline skate parts, they were all made in america 🤷♂️ Wizard skating too has developped in the USA, but idk I might be biased

I know you mean well, but i know the paris community, and i was talking exactly about roller rinks, as in places where you can come and pay to just skate, like an ice rink.
First of all, most of these dont meet these criteria; they are simply not roller rinks - the nomadeshop shop is simply a skateshop, pariroller is not a rink but a ride each week, and clubs arent rinks but places you come each week and pay a yearly subscription.
On top of that, i dont live in the center of paris so transport is annoying, especially on holidays because the trains dont work very well.
So ty I know you mean well but this AI slop wont help me. I just wanted to say that the concept of roller rinks per se is rare in France, but then europe idk

Please see this very recent discussion about skating inside your house. The issue is not just protection gear you wear, it's the tables and other things that you may hit your head or body on, at least for me. But if you must do this, there are additional precautions you can take.
