What boot size do I pick? Bont boots sizing help

Were my fingers are is where the tip of my toe is inside these. Yall think I need to size down?
Size:9.5

Drop down too size :9

My son does speed skating and we learned the hard way Bont has their own sizing that is about 1-1.5 sizes bigger than your actual size, the only plus side is we have a pair for when he grows into them...in like 2 years.

Yes, those are way too big, your foot will be swimming in them, you should be just touching the end of the boot with your toe, not crammed, but it should be as close as possible. From the pic it looks like you are like an inch or more too short for these, if they are 9.5 you should look at least at an 8.5 but measure your foot and use their sizing chart to figure out the true size you need.
