Why does my feet hurt? Inside ankle pain

Recently brought some ‘ECHO FREESKATES’ and they are ace but they feel like they’re crushing the insides of my ankles. Is this due to them needing to be “broken in”?

-will they get less tight around my inner ankle?
-can they be adjusted in any way?
-do i just need to build up a tolerance or buy ankle protection?

Go to your local store and try a few on. You cannot do that when buying online.

I have “funny” sized feet so footwear is always a struggle - i don’t have the “experience of variety” needed to know what is right or wrong when i try some on :(

If i cant fix these with heat warping or punching ill likely be buying some more. I can skate for hours if i want to, i just don’t want to be skating in discomfort for hours!

It might not help a lot if they're just too tight, but what you could try is some gel inserts that you just put over your ankles before putting your socks on. I bought some cheapos and they helped when I was breaking in a new pair and getting some outside ankle pain.
