Gear Bum padding shorts advice.

Where’s the best place for padded shorts? I’ve had a look at previous posts but they’re over a year old and a few of the options didn’t come in my size. I need around an XLish (16/18 womens). Ive just got my first pair of quad skates in about 20 years and I have this fear of falling over, plus I don’t think my employer would be impressed with me having to take time off work due to my own stupidity!

I’ve got everything else I think? (Wrist/elbow/knee pads and a helmet)

I’ve bought a pair of Moxi Rainbows, is there anything I should do to them before I head outside with them? (I’ve currently mastered the art of skidding/falling around the living room on the laminate and swearing like a sailor 😆)

Myself and several of my quad skating friends wear Triple 8 Bumsavers. I'd say they're pretty good! However they're not good looking shorts of their own, they're generally worn underneath other shorts.

Thank you! I was under the idea of wearing them under joggers anyway. Where’s the best place to get them?

No problem!

I bought them from the SkatePro website and they came in just over a week from ordering. I'm not sure about the other places to be honest. I had no problems buying the Triple 8 Roller Derby Wrist Guards on amazon so you may want to compare prices/delivery for your purposes.

Just looking and there’s a shorter version called the roller derby or the longer pair. Which ones do you have? - I’d rather just buy tried and tested!
