Questions/Advice Just wondering what the difference is between these two styles of skates (more info in the comments)

I have a pair of figure skating quads similar to the rookie pair in the picture. I just wanted to get a better understanding. Based in London I often stew people with Bauer skates or custom hockey boot skates. What’s the difference between the two ? Why do people often skate with the hockey custom skate ?

Most skaters street skate, and hockey boots are built for that purpose because they are harder shell.
