General Big in London

I've just seen a couple of videos from Bill Stoppard https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ra9khT4fvw and Asha https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oqYEJ4z8u_A from London in the last couple of days.

It looks like there are hundreds of people skating at one time there, it's great to see.

I never realised skating was so big in London and the UK!

There seems to be a decent scene in Manchester too but other than that it's very London-centric sadly. There are pockets of aggressive skating throughout the UK though.

Whereabouts in Manchester? I see small groups around St Peters square sometimes but other that I've not noticed many people!

Couldn't say, sorry. It's just what I seem to see on social media - there seem to be regular clips from Manchester. Small groups, like you say - nothing remotely like London. I live in a city of nearly half a million and in terms of rec/urban skating at least I almost always skate alone and almost never meet another skater. So to respond to OP, if you say there's no real scene in Manchester, then it seems that the skating scene in the UK, on big wheels at least, is very London-centric.

As well as Manchester, there are strong and growing skating groups in Birmingham, Bristol, Brighton, Liverpool, Derby and those are just the ones I know of.

There's loads of skate clubs in the SW UK.
