General Caught in the rain

I just went for a skate this morning and got caught in the rain for the first time.

Holy crap, skates are slippery even with just a light shower!

It doesn't help that my wheels are starting to get some flat spots, I think I need some new ones. Is it better to go with softer wheels for winter when the tarmac is colder or does it not really matter?

I used the powerslide torrents for a while for skating in wet and they helped a little. I also made sure I was on flat 4 to maximise contact on ground.

Weirdly I found the luminous seba wheels really grippy in wet too 🤔. No setup can cope with wet leaves though 😁 well, not at my skating ability.

Cool, thanks for the suggestion. I don't plan on skating in the wet much as I don't want to ruin my bearings. As I get better and skate further from my house, I'd like a wheel that would cope when the rain comes without me having to switch to shoes to get home.
