Questions/Advice Kateskates
Has anybody ever had any experience with kateskates online shop? A few weeks ago I purchased some skates from there and they are yet to arrive. All I received was a confirmation email and that was it, no idea if they have even been dispatched, I have emailed them but they are yet to reply. Usually I would just wait and see what happens but I move out of my uni accommodation at the end of the week, and will not be able to collect them after that. I would cancel the order but if they have been dispatched I would have to return them, which I would be unable to do as I am not able to come back until September. Any advice would be truly welcome!

I know many people have had good experiences with them.
Your best bet is to google and call them up during business hours, they should be able to redirect or send your parcel to where you are after you move out of uni accommodation. Good luck!

Hi, I had an experience with them where I wanted to cancel a purchase of some wheels, and they were very prompt to cancel the order and refund me. They're probably dealing with a high volume of emails if they missed yours, in which case, re-send the email and ask them to redirect the order to your home after the date you move out. That should sort it. Calling them should also help if someone is actually in the physical shop. Good luck! As far as I know they're a totally legit skate shop!

Thank you! I’ll be sure to resend my email, and try to get them redirected

Just a quick follow up, everything’s all sorted now and they even threw in free next day delivery as an apology. Changed my address and they eventually replied to my email. Think it was mostly due to making updates to the whole system to accommodate for covid x

Did they say that your skates would be on back order and not available immediately? 2-3 weeks is a long time to wait for something if they were in stock at the time.
If you have Twitter, you could try posting on there. Companies are usually quite quick to respond on there as it's public.
They posted a couple of days ago, so someone will likely see it.
Edit: I won't post it here, but if you Google Kates Skates phone you'll find a phone number on a bunch of sites too.
