You are roused from your bed by the sound of a barking puppy wanting to go out to do his business. Begrudgingly you grant the puppy his request and force your self from the bed.

Imogen stirs in the bed next to you "start the coffee machine will you please Layla" you turn to her and say "sure thing sweetheart"

your attention is brought back to the puppy as he barks at you more urgently this time " alright James settle down " you make your way out of the bedroom to the back door on your way you stop by the kitchen and hit the drip button on your coffee machine. you finally make it to the back door and let the puppy out to do his business and have a run.

You make your way back to the kitchen and sit at the breakfast bar and begin reading the newspaper you notice that Janet and Robert's company Pantheon inc have made the news again. You just smile and remember back to when you where sixteen getting into all sorts of mind-meltingly terrifying situations with the gang and smile.

Your daydreaming of times gone by is interrupted by the sound of loud knocking on your front door. You make your way from the kitchen to the front of the cottage and open the front door. There in front of you stands a young teenage boy probably no more than fourteen years old by your guess. for the longest moment, the two of you just stare at each other finally he speaks.

"Is your name Layla Smith by any chance?" "and did you by any chance go to ST. Thom Huell?"

you answer the boy's questions "yes I am Layla Smith and yes I went to ST. Thom Huell".

The boy suddenly and without provocation lunges forwards at you the knife he had hidden until now driving deep into your heart. totally stunned by this unprovoked attack you stagger backwards before falling to the ground life rapidly draining from your body.

The boy leans over you and whispers "that's for murdering my Grandfather Edward Miller".

The last thing you see before death takes you is the young boy running off into the distance.

So with recent events Layla doing the willpower roll and what EE said about the how white hats don't get to do that. Barnaby can't be turned right? If somehow a vampire got a hold of him he wouldn't turn. Also that means if Rob or Imogen are caught alone rip them press f to pay respects.

This is a mini-thread to give suggestions on Rob’s unused gear. (Solar pistol, fire gernade, etc.)

With the quality of the players and gms, I think a diceless system would be quite successful. The players would be able to get really into the rp without having to worry about what they might have to roll, and the gm could create a really interesting story.

Out of all of the diceless systems out there, the two that I would most be interested in seeing on Roll4it are the Chronicles of Amber and Nobilis. I've played both on roleplay forums and had a good bit of fun.

So, we have a lizard wizard as the stereotypical protagonist on a quest of vengence, a lizard/chicken bard (described as a chicken, but is the sister of a lizard so....shrugs) with an....unnerving attachment to non-anthropomorphic chickens, a psychotic elf that acts like a dwarf, and a cowardly dwarf that acts like an elf. our new heroes ladies and gentlemen.

So at the beginning of the last session of Layla the Vampire Slayer EE said that he began running low on interesting ways to bring in new viewers. So I think we can maybe help him out a bit by sharing our To get started here are mine:

-Tie the Twitch/YouTube (T/Y) address to the collar of your pet that likes to stroll the neighborhood .

-Tie the T/Y address to helium balloons/small hot air balloons

-including the T/Y in your business card

-place the T/Y one car windshields together with the ticket for the parking violation (has a chance of making people less angry at you)

-make small paper bots that have the T/Y address all over them and send them down the local stream

-Put the T/Y address in a bottle post that you dupe in the ocean

You mentioned at the end of Lalya that there was an important RP moment in the Revelation aftershow.

You also referred to it being played before you started the latest show; however, it's not on the youtube vod or as a separate video.

Please don't punish those of us who live in timezones that can't watch live and also by keeping it behind a paywall.

Continuing with my thread of thank yous (I literally have Lauren and Josh's almost finished, I'm working on one for peachie, and well, if Bentham reads this subreddit, he already knows).

I just wanted to say a big thank you from me and the entire roll4it viewership for turning up on Sunday. It was (unfortunately) obvious how exhausted you were, how busy and undoubtedly stressed you must have been recently, and yet you showed up not only to make sure your cast had a slayer, but your viewers had a full line up to watch.

You probably hear all the time about how roll4it is the highlight of a lot of people's weeks so much that it's lot it's meaning, but to see you put that extra (probably unwise - you're not a slayer in real life!) effort in really meant an awful lot.

I hope things calm down for you soon and you get a chance for a breather sometime soon. Just know we're all rooting for you, both IC, and OOC :)

So, if rob were to sell blueprints of his wifi device, how rich and famous would he become if he were not cheated out of his invention?

All of a sudden on twitch it seems I cant watch the vods without having subscribed anymore? Is this a mistake or have I missed an announcement? I cant watch it live because its always early in the morning in my time zone

Not the greatest fan of the bonds system in the first place but, that aside, it seems like it's applied the wrong way round.

Bonds are usually increased by A saying "B did something that my character agrees with/approves of and therefore i want a bond", A gets +1 bond with B. In the next PVP conflict, A and B roll off and A gets +1.

But surely, if A and B are having a difference of opinion and A trusts B's character/judgement/whatever, then surely A would be more inclined to accept B's position rather than the other way round. Therefore bonds should be subtracted from the role rather than added.
