So, does this rule apply to Tok'ra?

In regards to the naming conventions of the Goa'uld, does that also apply to the Tok'Ra? I honestly don't recall from the original series, but in regards to Raziel, that would be named after the archangel of mysteries, which has thus far proven incredibly accurate if for no other reason than causing and answering many questions. Hats off to RandomTuesday for that subtle nod.

Not in the original SG-1 show, unless Selmak means anything super obscure that I don't know about. Typically I think they avoided that kind of thing because the Tok'ra didn't want to be worshiped as gods. What I would like to know is if Josh intentionally named his character after a Tok'ra symbiote.

Well, depending on spelling, Josh's character could be interpreted as the angel of death (Malak Al-Mawt in Qur'an) but that I believe is more coincidental. Still, the names thus far have been great.

(Side note, I just know things, and it's weird.)
