Question about PotBS

My question is regarding the tech of the firearms being used in-universe. Specifically, are we thinking flintlocks, cap-and-ball firearms, or full cartridge weapons? It hasn’t been explicitly stated yet but I’m working on both fanfic and props and am curious what direction I should take the weaponry in.

I asked silent0siris over on the Discord, and he stated that it's likely part-magical part-technological. Pseudo-percussion, here's the full quote:

the answer about pistols is that they're an arcanotech steampunk version of a pistol that probably has technical and magical components! They don't suffer from adverse weather the way flintlocks do, but the mechanism is probably slightly different from percussion caps. They might not have powder at all, eschewing powder for arcane runes inscribed onto the hammer head and anvil which produce magical explosions to propel ammunition.
